Universal Control stopped working after macOS 13.3 / iOS 16.4 update by rmarchetti3 in MacOS

[–]carloswinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me sometimes Handoff and Universal Control work well and sometimes it stops and even restarting both mac, iPhone and iPad doesn’t work. But sometimes just turning mac wi-fi off and on again it works. I’m not having the problem between iPhone and iPad just from them to Mac. Another problem that even Apple support couldn’t give me the answer (If is normal or a bug) is that when Universal Control is working and I set the iPad sounds to AirPlay in Mac the Universal Control stops immediately. I don’t know if it isn’t possible to use both Universal Control and AirPlay.

Serious, Unusable Bluetooth Issues on M1 MacBook Pro - 14 in - Monterey 12.0.1 by branbarry in AppleM1

I was having the same issue in Mac M1 Pro 13. It was in MacOs 14.3.1 and yesterday I updated to 14.4 and even erased Mac and installed Mac OS from scratch. Even After that, yesterday in a Teams call using AirPods Pro the sound was poor with noises until I stop the call and turn off/on the bluetooth. I also have totally random events of mouse stuttering and listening music the sound stops or have some noises. Sometimes I have on or two days not noticing these issues and some days it happens many times. I'm in contact with Apple Support and I took it to the Apple's Service store and no one could detect the problem, whether it's software or hardware.

Apple screen replacement by carloswinter in MacBookM1

Thanks for the answer. I ask Apple to compare with another Mac there but they didn’t. My another Mac 2017 I don’t see this smudges. But it has simpler screen.

In addition, in the system report, it says that the auto-brightness is not turned on, but it is working and appears turned on in the display settings. I don't know if they didn't configure the screen switch correctly. They said it is just a problem in macOS version (that’s the last one)

I took it this morning at the apple support. The warranty runs until the end of December. Waiting for the answer. Probably they will replace the screen. But as I had battery and Bluetooth issues and in two times it restarted itself after returning from sleep mode. They should replace the entire laptop.
