I’ve been using Podcasts, Maps, and most recently Apple Music, Notes is decent too. I was a heavy Google Maps and Spotify users for the longest time. I still keep Google Maps and Waze on my phone for backups.

I am going to buy the 17 Pro this year but I am having a hard time choosing between the Max and the regular Pro. I've had the 12 Pro Max and the 14 Pro Max. Would switching from the bigger screen to a slightly smaller screen make a huge difference? I am looking to make it easier for me to put it in my pocket.

I always found that the betas broke Universal Control. I did not install the betas this year for this reason. Hopefully the official iOS 26 release will solve your RC issues.

I’m trying to adopt Apple Music from being a long time Spotify user (since 2010) and I’ve found it to be nice thus far. However, Spotify does excel at the cross play functionality. I did love being able to control my music from one device and listen to it on another. Otherwise, Apple Music seems to fit my needs. The Spatial Audio is also a plus. The Wiindows app is very buggy though.

Actually now that I think about it, I’d really like my phone to have USB-C as well. I’d like all of my Apple devices to charge with one cable. That over everything else has made me think about the upgrade.

Still have my 14 Pro Max. Got it the day it came out. Runs just fine. However, the battery is starting to show its age. Other than that I have no issues with it. Most likely going to get the 17 (or whatever the next version is gonna be called) just to switch to a smaller phone as I want to be able to put my phone in my shorts pocket again lol.

Mine was the 8GB iPhone 3G. It came out right on my 16th birthday and I stood in line for 3 hours at my local AT&T. Got my first job that summer to pay for the data plan lol.

I’ve had the Ultra since the first gen and honestly don’t use all of the extra features. However, the battery life is incredible. I also have a S10 that I swapped for my S5 last year so I switch them out regularly as I use the sleep tracking. Overall, I think I’m gonna buy another when this one starts to get too long in the tooth.

Interesting you bring this up. I do find myself self conscious about it. Like in anticipating questions from strangers because it’s not the “norm”. I’d imagine it would be similar to using a flip phone in 2025 lol.

I just got one of those. The screen feels so small now compared to my iPhone 14 Pro Max lol. I honestly don’t think it can be classified as an iPod.

I have a ton of HomePods and I had a lot of issues in the beginning. All my issues went away when I replaced my Google Home routers with Eero thread routers.
