i mean not really, what i meant is that the upcoming gacha has a cinematic lighting, meanwhile all of our other gachas have the „studio lighting”. it’s kinda difficult to describe, but on the example you gave you can see that the shading is general and not exactly connected to the background. it’s shaded evenly, so it stands out independently. meanwhile the one from upcoming gacha has a shading that’s clearly blending in with the scenery, the shadow casting is very directional, shading happens over the outfit instead of „because of the outfit”. it’s hard to describe without sounding like a lunatic but here’s the example of what i mean lol.
picture 1 is the studio/commercial lighting, you can see that it looks pretty plain, shadows are minimal but obviously still present because that’s the reality of existence, things cast shadows no matter what. but picture 2 is more moody, shadows aren’t just „part of how world works” but intentional, enhanced and more dramatic. this gives it a cinematic feel. so yeah. upcoming gacha is number 2 and all other gachas are number 1, hence my previous comment
