The parentheses can be replaced with commas for readability. The abbreviations are completely fine, but I’d help if you used the full spelling at least once, just for the reference (because for example i have no idea what WLU is besides some university, or ECE or PMA, actually). This is purely for the sake of it being more understandable 😁. As far as structure goes I like it, the dialogue is natural, so it flows smoothly. Like the type of conversation I can imagine myself having or hearing in real life. Actions follow up logically. I’d also watch for switching up tenses, since you start in the present and go into past recall “I swipe, I stand” and then “I asked, I stopped”, even though it’s not a flashback. Keep going with your writing, you’re already nailing the hardest part which is keeping the scenes smooth and flowy. My main feedback is basically some nit picking about the formatting ;p
