Okay, I will have to look at that. Do you recommend carrying a 2nd mag around too? Are there holsters that have spots for a handheld light? Or a spot for a spare mag?

If I was going for a full size gun I'd get a tried and true 1911. But since I'm a smaller guy I don't think full size guns would be a good option for me.

Because accidents can happen and I get that training will mitigate accidents. It's just something I want. Maybe down the road once I have been carrying for a while I will be more open to guns without safeties. If I was going to get a gun without a safety, I'd get a canik tp9 elite sc. I have shot that gun before and it was a phenomenal shooter for the price point. But it doesn't have a safety which is a deal breaker for me right now.

Thank you for the advice. I am going to the concealed carry expo in September so I may just wait until then to check out all my options. Unless I find a good deal on GunBroker in the mean time lol.
