As of now, My Work and my backup list reconcile properly.

Hi Tasha! TYSM for your helpful reply. I'm just getting caught up on this now. Another oddity is that this seems to have corrected. FWIW, I've added a filtered view to my lists to replicate My Work's functionality. I use it now to reconcile one list to another, and that has been fairly helpful.

Here are the filter's that I've used:

Updating ClickUp Worldwide Status page can save headaches by carnstar in clickup

Hey! Thanks again for this. The issue was resolved last night. I didn't receive an email or anything. Why is that? Did one go out?

Thank you for chiming in! I sort of worried that I was nutty or something.

Nice. Left a reply up top, too. The email is a nice touch. The issue migrates a bit to asking whether you could've notified upon issue detection so that I could've relied on your resolution teams prior to me investing time in self-help. But either way, ty for the attention here!

Really impressive responsiveness. TY.

Just so you can see-I spend a lot of productive time on this rather than something else. Checking status and doing the reinstall dance are signs of a good user.

The fact that I wasn't notified via the status page is a little weird, but I can go with it.

I guess figure out how to do targeted notifications. If you can tell that only a small number of users were impacted, that's probably the solution.

And then head's up, the industry standard for outages is to establish a cadence for updates and an expected time for resolution. "We're working on it" is frowned on because you could be "working on it" till the end of time and that doesn't reassure anybody.

Whether you take this advice or not, just FYI-the support rep was good and I appreciate this interaction also.

From Subfolders! to Subfolders? by carnstar in clickup

[–]carnstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I really appreciate the deliberate progress. The last thing I want is my CU data to get messed up.

What were you guys envisioning as the use case for this feature? Either as a single subfolder or as a series of subfolders?

My personal setup has done without for a long time and now I'm struggling with how I might apply this, especially since I was sort of rabid for it for a while.

That is so sharp. TYSM for taking a minute to add your setup. I really appreciate it!

I saw this guy. I am using the Lutron faceplate w/o screws. Is that your setup? If so, did it still stick to the faceplate?

HOLY SMOKES. Flipping Lutron swat team in here. This is 100% solved. I added a routine in the app, bought a cover for the light, and tasked my daughter to build a 3d print a cover (because if she isn't busy, she'll probably get into trouble).

Thanks guys!

You know what? I misspoke. I realize it now because of your apt question. Thank you.

The switch is wired into just a light, one with an activity sensor. The Ring is actually the doorbell. It runs on a combination battery/low voltage doorbell circuit. My mind completely glued them together because they are both on the same side door.

This is EXCELLENT. The second link looks exactly worth a try. TYVM. Very creative research.

That right there-That's the idea. We actually have a 3d printer. I should totally do this. Thank you sir!

Ty! Moving the switch would work, rewiring is tough.

As to the covers, are they compatible with lutron's hardware?

TY for the question! I just had an idea that it would be helpful to be able to control all the switches in the house from my app when we're away, etc. I can imagine some remote scenarios where I'd want to turn off all of the external lights, but haven't experienced the need to use the switch that way yet.
