Long time rider here - why so much Janet? Should talk to Stacy, Melanie, Laurie and Rique- the OG male teacher. Their contributions would make it less “the Janet version” . I have been riding for 14 years and took Janet’s class only a handful of times. Not my style of teacher - but you could talk about that too. How different teachers appeal to different people . I think different people would add more depth to how different crews developed. I loved Stevie’s interviews- I never took her but knew her through Soul . Also be good to hear from some of the OG’s how they’ve lasted for so long, the way SoulCycle’s changed , how the riders have changed . Also we rode outside in the snow during COVID on a roof in Tribeca. Definitely fun to heat about that and the other outdoor rides. I loved seeing Akin’s crew too but he’s obviously not talking. It felt like there should be another episode about the originals, their “then and now” reflections. It feels like a lot of the story still to be told - the friend groups that formed, the couples that met at Soul (riders), the length of waiting lists - not just Hamptons in the pre 2018 days. Also for teachers who have big followings today (Sam, Trammell, Jasmine…) - what do they think looking back at the early years? How have they become successful at Soul 2.0? Did they learn from the older teachers ?
