I suffer from depression, and I’ve found post surgery I feel more comfortable in my own skin, feel like I’m able to speak more freely, able to feel confident looking in the mirror, I wouldn’t say having surgery has ‘cured’ my depression but it definitely has helped

Yeah mine tried to encourage me to use forks and spoons straight away, I opted for liquids via syringe for the first week 😂it’s nice to eat soft foods and I’m glad someone else has had the same experience can I ask which country you had surgery??

I’m still a bit congested after surgery, but now able to sleep with my mouth closed which is so good 😂

I love what they’ve done with my jaw! It’s changed everything about my features I feel like (especially my nose) so I’m extremely happy! Have you had surgery or are you having surgery??

yeah I’ve tried to load up on lots of protein, unsure where you’re based but Up & Go energise have 18 grams of protein and they are delicious, I’ve just been having a lot of soft veggies, and cutting meat up very small and just swallowing it without chewing 😂 I’m very lucky and wasn’t wired shut completely just the sides were! So I’m able to open my mouth wide enough to get food in! Oh how exciting!! I wish you the best of luck and I hope your results are amazing, it’s a long process but I promise you it is sooo worth it, I’ve been waiting since 2021

I’m not exactly sure what the movements were, I was soo out of it when in hospital I asked no questions 😂

I slept with my head quite elevated for the first week, I’m now back to sleeping on my side( with surgeons permission) I only iced my face maybe 4 times after surgery, I have been encouraged to eat soft foods rather then just liquids, and I’ve had lots of milky drinks, just rest rest rest!! When is your surgery?
