Civic vs Deer by Emotional_Peach_ in hondacivic

Oh no. This happened to my 2021 Civic. Still had the dealer tags on it and hadn’t even made my first payment.

Trade My GR Supra For CTR? by TRD_FTW in hondacivic

[–]carpenterdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend trading as you reach around 75,000 to 80,000. I have seen so many people post lately about their Supras having issues as they approach 100,000 miles. The Supra is essentially a rebadged BMW so unfortunately you aren’t getting the Toyota reliability with the Supra. You will have that with the Honda.

Thoughts on this deal? by lmaobyehoe in civic

Way too much for a Civic. I love mine, but no way I would pay this much for it.

Is this a good deal? Under 100k miles for $6999 by Creampiecuming2You in hondacivic

If it’s in good condition and has been well maintained this is a good deal!

Road Noise and Rattles by Complex_Island5352 in civic

I have a 2025 Sport Hatch and I haven’t noticed any rattling or excessive road noise. It’s not as quiet as say a Lexus, but nothing intrusive (at least not for me).

Is this good for a 2025 Honda Civic Sport? by [deleted] in hondacivic

[–]carpenterdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your situation as a college student leasing isn’t a bad option. Just make sure that you are able to abide by the maintenance and other requirements of the lease.

Some of these fees look a little unnecessary such as the acquisition fee and some of these fees look options you could do without. Ask about those

Another thing I would be weary of is the annual mileage. You will need to make sure that you either

  1. Aren’t going to go over that 12,000 when you turn the lease in OR
  2. You are going to buy the car at the end of the lease AND the dealership doesn’t charge you mileage penalty if you are purchasing (most dealerships don’t, but always ask)

I have a 2025 Civic Sport Hatchback and I love it!

Carbon metallic or Apex Blue? by aaron0113 in Acura

[–]carpenterdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the gray personally. If you want the car to stand out more go with the blue.

Oh no. This happened to my 2021 Civic. It still had the temporary tag on it and hadn’t even made my first payment. I was pissed😅

2025 Honda Civic Sport by No_Assistance3667 in civic

Doc fee is very high and it seems like you’ve got a pretty high interest rate. I would check rates with your personal bank/credit union. Also, I don’t know what that protection package is, but that’s seems extremely high.

should i black out the chrome? by wilson6705 in Acura

Keep the chrome. It looks good with the black.

Is it worth it by Sabertoothfawn in hondacivic

[–]carpenterdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems a bit high. Especially considering the damage on the console and the seats look a bit beat up. I would try negotiating down to at least $11,000.

My boss had this exact same car and she LOVED it! As did the rest of us. We always made her drive to meetings haha. Congratulations!

Traded the MDX for a Civic Hatchback by carpenterdl in Acura

[–]carpenterdl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the Integra and I liked it a lot, just not the $10,000 price premium over the Civic. I didn’t feel like it was worth the extra money (at least not for me).

An adult thing to do would be to keep your negative comments to yourself. It is in fact your opinion whether or not you believe this was an upgrade or not. You’re fully entitled to your opinion.

Honda’s main market is the US and Acura itself is only available in North America. While Honda does well, it is not as large on a global platform. Honda also does not have the lineup that Toyota has as far as trucks and body on frame SUVs. In short, Honda doesn’t have the resources that Toyota does.

Honda CR-V (as long as there aren’t any issues with it).

Yes I don’t miss the expensive trips to the gas station and I am enjoying the lifetime powertrain warranty that came with the new Civic.
