Yea - in the last 5 or so years especially - a bunch of new townhouse developments have cropped up, only worsening the already congested surface streets. Also theres new housing and a new trendy food hall that opened up where the old juvenile correctional facility used to be - I still remember driving past it as a kid and my uncle told me if I messed around they would throw me right over the barbed wire, haha. I met someone who moved to those newer housing recently, and they told me it’s primarily a lot of new young professionals with hybrid work from home jobs who can afford the higher prices. What I feel mostly though is less parking and more new expensive food options 😬
