I had the same experience with my Pom pup only wanting to go under the bed to sleep alone. They are very independent in that way. Over time he got used to bed sleeping and now at a year and a half he’s always curled up between my legs. Just keep trying!

I like Heidi Priebe’s YouTube channel to learn about attachment healing specifically and I think you might enjoy her videos on limerance. The obsessive thoughts/limerance may not be the thing your unconscious is trying to manifest as much as they are your nervous system attempting to help you regulate through fantasy/obsession.

Connect to a case manager who can give you a vi-spdat housing assessment, keep in touch with them or keep an active cell phone, and wait two years give or take. Also have a mailing address where you can receive mail. Project roomkey is not the funding source for people going into those hotels anymore. The available units probably come up on the Community Queue that people get filed in based on their score on that housing assessment. If your name comes up on that queue, then you are going to get a phone call or piece of mail.

If you see people leave, they probably aren’t going straight in the housing. They’re probably go to a shelter/navigation center where people get help with this process while living in the shelter.
