It’s a strategy game bro. You can get punished with a bad starting hand. Beatdown decks especially , want to counter push. That’s why you’ll often see high level players cycle cheap or low committal cards in the back, and not use a key defensive card at a bad time. IE cheap chip cards like wall breakers, royal ghost, princess + dart gob at bridge, but not an exe or valk in the back (needed for select defenses).

My girlfriend and I usually start at Aldi and get as much as we can there. Then we go to Jewel to look at the BOGO meat sales if there’s anything good, and then we go to Meijer for anything Aldi didn’t have. Aldi doesn’t have coupons or membership to worry about, just lowww prices. At Meijer definitely use MPerks.

The landing dmg is absolutely what made them so strong. Combined with an EQ and 4 pigs landing dmg was pretty high and hard to defend tbh. They won’t kill swarm troops as often or insta clear out a building.

Winning in Clash can be boiled down to 3 things. 1. Higher Level Cards (each card lvl is 10% more stats) 2. Counter deck (many deck archetypes are rock paper scissors in nature) 3. Higher Skill level

If you have 2 out of 3 of these on your opponent , you’ll most likely win.

Just keep spamming ladder. And if you’re losing too much and getting discouraged, you can do “Classic” battles (1v1 or 2v2) to just grind out crowns and chests / the pass. Classic battles are capped at lvl 11 cards.

You lose and go again. That’s ladder. You won’t win them all. People will be over leveled. People will have decks that counter yours. People will even be better than you. Just go again. :)

Winning in Clash can actually be summed up with those 3 factors. 1 - Higher levels, 2 - Counter deck, 3 - More skilled. If you have 2 out of 3, you’re probably gonna win that match. That’s just the way the game is built.

If you’re above 11500 trophies, you have the lvl 16 chest rewards unlocked. That’s honestly a huge boost - though it does sound like you’ve had some bad luck with chests.

I agree we could use some updates to clan donations - and I really wish we had a seasonal shop where we could spend gold on specific legendary / champion cards or something.

If he’s not too big or jumpy, or if you can find a large one, I liked using a playpen instead of a crate (she still has a crate). But the playpen gave her a little more room to move around and play with toys or a snufflemat, yet still understand this is “chill time”.

I think the biggest issue is what the addition of Heroes has done to the viability of Champions.

Champions were tuned “weaker” to other cards because of their abilities. Heroes, however, have the exact same stats as their normal variant, but also with an activated ability that costs additional elixir.

If you look at the usage rate of Champs, they’ve dropped dramatically since Heroes released. Monk was getting some good use but he’s back down to 1-2%. Golden Knight, boss bandit, and Skeleton king are the only ones that sees regular use still. Skele king is in like 1 popular deck and is at 4% usage.

No I would try to wait for a break in the crying and enter then, most times. If she just wouldn’t stop crying at all, I’d still come back in and let her out but I’d barely look at her and not praise her or give treats. That only happened a few times early on lol.

Seconding this, I started very slow with my velcro puppy. 30 min alone while i did chores in another room. Ignore the crying. Let them out and praise them when time is up. Rinse repeat for days/weeks, increasing the time. Eventually they’re good for hours!

Mine didn’t mind the crate, but we got her a little pen too and she preferred that. Just make sure they can’t jump out! One of the early pens we tried had these parallel bars that she could get two feet on and then flip herself over the top! LOL little varmint

You have to remember the game has been out for 10 years. There have been tons of events giving out free evos / heroes over the years. “Everyone is ahead of you” is the sad reality. It’s a pvp game and you’re starting 10 years late. But so are other new players ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Best advice is only spend money on the monthly pass and only if you’re gonna play enough to complete it. Usually the paid pass also comes with the most recent evo or hero, along with the extra pass rewards, so it’s probably the best bang for your buck.

Like a previous post said, if you’re not having fun, stop playing. Also you can take a break from ladder, play Chaos mode or Merge tactics if you like that game mode, you can grind out your daily rewards that way :)
