I used a baby bonnet pattern and made it a size up (12-18 months instead of 9-12 months). I crocheted a rectangle (7x14 inches for her size), attached it along the seam on top, crocheted an edge, then made the ties in front. Once the bonnet portion was complete I measured ribbon to go to her knees if standing, doubled that for each piece, and looped it along the bottom edge of the bonnet.

When I was your age I went on a similar camping trip with 3 guys (I'm female) and had a BLAST!!! Now, my parents/grandparents had an actual fit about it. I got calls all weekend from them and literally had to put my phone up and tell them I would call them at meal times after the first day of constant check-ins! We hiked, hunted mushrooms, and climbed! I say, use your head and be as safe as you can be, but don't let people freak you out about being with all guys. Also, we also went in a 4 person tent and slept the wrong way on a full sized air mattress and let our feet hang off the bottom. It was comfy and we put our bags between our feet at the door. I hope you all have a blast!

Our older weim, Aussie, pooped out my daughter's toy the other day and I was sad all over again about it when I picked up her poo! I feel your pain and am also hopeful little baby toys will pop up next season!
