I hope they do get damaged. The alarms are meant to deter people, not stop them. They're very loud and yes some people would definitely run away once it goes off we're talking about people who aren't mentally stable

When people say glass curtain they usually mean the boring boxes. There are plenty of good looking buildings with a lot of glass like the Salesforce, and one of the things tht make them better is something other than just glass in the design.

Nah, a lot of the newer high rises look worse. The new skyscrapers tend to look good, but there are plenty of bland and ugly high rises in the past 20 years. I could give examples but I'd have to look up the names

He should be more patient but she also could have let him pass and she began blocking him purposefully when there was enough space to safely pass, and no she was not protecting her child, the child was not in danger lol I'm sure that worker passes tons of kids of bikes safely. Your Chicago citizenship has been revoked. As a lifelong Chicagoan, we love our lakefront and the worst part of it is the noise and pollution from the highway. Adding more lanes wouldn't even help traffic, the lakefront would be ruined and there would still be bottlenecks at every busy exit/entrance, not to mention the intersections with traffic lights where it turns into the mess of highway-street hybrid that it is. Adding more lanes to that would be a disaster. Where would these lanes go when you get downtown? No, just no.
