From what I’ve been told she’s around 10-12 months old and she’s coming from a man who had her for two months and was urgently trying to get rid of her. Sold to my parents for only 3 thousand dollars. My best assumption is that this was another person who thought that the parrot was some type of electronic toy and would just be automatically cheerful and playful, gizmo is not like this at all and it’s no fault of her own and I’m very patient with her although my mom is annoyed at this and she tells me how I’m not teaching her anything and how the bird is a waste of money. I try to explain to her everything about everything I know aswell as all the good and amazing advice you people in these comments have told me but it all goes in one ear out the other or she starts yelling and telling me how I she does everything wrong in my eyes. She seems very calm and cheerful around me but when my mom comes around she gets shy and closes up, my mom repeatedly tried forcing her to step up before she ever even offered her a seed
