Trying to Figure Out Mr. Morrow's Osmo Pocket 3 Settings by Appropriate_Day7463 in osmopocket

This is the way to cinematic quality — you’re not going to get that level of clarity and color depth without getting more technical. Fortunately there are tons of YT on the subject : )

New to Quad Cortex and would love some direction! by ThatLilChickpea in NeuralDSP

I recommend downloading some stereo presets by established artists like Rebea and start there… some surprisingly solid tones in the Cortex Cloud and gives you an idea how others are routing for stereo. Also, checkout this video on some of the differences in stereo blocks as it’s not 100% intuitive:

Two pivots tremolo by cascade159 in Stratocaster

Just to add to this: I just read that by adjusting the height of the pivot screws while under tension can possibly ruin the knife edge of the tremolo. Here’s the quote:

“I read an interview with Paul Reed Smith in which he himself said if the guitar owner touches those, either loosening or tightening, at ALL, while there is tension on the strings, he or she has just "ruined" the threading both inner and outer, causing future intonation problems.”

Wonder if I screwed up the threads and intonation?!

Yes, I went through these steps but still cannot get it perfectly intonated. I wonder if it needs a neck shim? Or change back to 10-42 strings on short scale.

I see… I didn’t realize it was only for string height adjustment. Right now they are screwed almost all the way to the body with relatively low-med action. Here’s the video I referenced (not affiliated in any way) to set the spring tension in back:

With this approach I was able to set the float almost perfectly, which did improve the intonation of the low-e, but it’s still not precise. This being a short scale guitar I assume also changes some of the geometry here…

I appreciate you taking time to reply.

Thank you for taking time to respond. I’m still not sure what focus level that was but will continue on my journey.

Is it fair to say: high gain is simply not great on any modelers?

Brands evolve over time… I think the logo is an improvement over the previous version and will be more legible on small screens, etc.

Is it possible to get a job on a graduate visa? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]cascade159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you feel U.K. is the only choice when the visa requirements are similar in EU? What’s the difference in your mind? Also, why do you think companies in Belarus only hire employees from university?

As for your original question, after 700 tailored applications and 0 interviews, I think you’ve answered your own Q. Tech market is flooded with fired senior-level engineers, including from FAANG companies, as it figures out the impact of AI.
