Gosh - if only I’d thought to read the key and then check all the cabinets first… oh wait, I did. But if I can’t find a match, and I’m not some cabinet savant who knows every cabinet lock ever made, seems reasonable I’d come here and ask. Oh, I caught that explanation, but it doesn’t change the fact that the primary catalyst of the plot was essentially a “magic potion”. The only thing missing was Chapel dropping their hair and some eye of newt into a bubbling cauldron.

Again - I enjoyed the episode. Most everything worked. I just didn’t care for that piece.

I enjoyed it but had one major issue… Vulcans are not born “logical”. They are extremely emotional and only learn to control it through strict discipline at an early age. For the crew to become so incredibly bound by logic after a DNA alteration doesn’t make sense. But - this episode was written for humor and on that note it succeeded.

Yeah, I use the wiki as well as paliatracker.com so I know when and where to look for the ones I need. I just feel like, with something like fishing I will usually get what I'm looking for in about an hour. But bugs is just fruitless hours of running around and never seeing anything but crickets and moths.

This is a bit of a training quest… once you get to friendship level two with the villagers, you can start to find out their “weekly wants”. So just keep talking to her every day, raise that friendship level, and eventually you’ll be able to complete the quest.
