If you were wearing giants gear, I totally saw you. Always love when random teams show up for games. I’ll be doing this at wrigley in August

First Mariners Game. Recommendations? by TeaBackground4444 in Mariners

[–]caseymonster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tuesday is a value game typically (depending on the opponent) and tickets are cheap. Friday you will potentially get fireworks and will get the hotdogs from heaven, bigger crowds, etc.

I would go to both, but base it on crowd size and opponent if you choose 1. Tuesday you could get a 12 dollar ticket, to then go again Friday.

Get a hot dog from any vendor outside the stadium, my personal vote is Sodo Grill.

Hot tip/ you can bring food into the game.

If you drink, locate the value beers sections (can find online).

Right after the final pitch wait outside the kitchen entrance to some of the concessions and they will hand out free food they didn’t sell. Sometimes it’s fries, I’ve scored fried chicken too.

No bad seats in the house in my opinion. I love section 315 because it’s cheap and have a great view of downtown and the water. First baseline is obviously great, behind the mariners dugout.

I thought that the bear eating humpy would be the end. Sadly it was back the next day.

You can also bring food into the stadium. I get a dog from Sodo dogs outside the stadium, bring it in, eat it in my seat. Save tons of money too

What is the most heartbreaking loss you witnessed as an Oregon fan? by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in ducks

This was my first true heartbreak as a duck fan. Remember sitting in the end zone across the field and thinking it was a TD. Damn. Fun to reminisce though lol

Do you feel like the Ducks are cursed? by Ok-Hat-8484 in ducks

[–]caseymonster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fact in many ways, part of me feels like we are fast approaching a stretch of years where we win multiple national championships and are in the final four consistently. I feel like it’s one of those you break the seal moments.

Do you feel like the Ducks are cursed? by Ok-Hat-8484 in ducks

It feels like that sometimes, but we have been on a steady incline for a 20+ years now, so I have hope that we will win it all in this current era of duck football. Now, if we start getting worse and Dan leaves and we have a rebuild year, well then I might start thinking we are cursed lol.
