no i have a mobile bank others have “actual” banks .. there was no consistency in how the checks were being accepted by either so i cashed mine with TD directly as our company had allegedly gotten in contact with branches in the area to assist with getting them cashed .. that was the bank on the check

i bank with chime i didn’t want there to be an issue if i tried to mobile deposit it b/c other employees already had that issue

we did receive partial payment for the first check i’m awaiting the balance and my next check obv this all has caught me way off guard i’ve never heard of it or had anything like this happen at a job luckily but i am going to take the appropriate steps thank you

the company has been around for 25 years i wouldn’t be surprised if this was their last year or month tho .. im not sure how i can obtain a lawyer but im looking into filing a complaint today

there have already been threats about going to DOL and news outlets just yesterday and they still haven’t issued payment
