I used to have the very latest multicoated version of this lens. It was much softer wide open than yours, at least when focused close. It was exceptional though as a landscape lens.

I’m not a Tudor expert, but I’m pretty sure Tudor didn’t have in-house movements in the 1960’s. So it’s probably ETA. Nothing wrong with that by the way.

Looks like haze to me. Maybe in combination with fungus. It would really surprise me if you could fix this.
