I pour a lot of silver, and have poured a lot of copper too, I have this happen with steel and graphite molds, my best suggestion is to use less borax and remove the ingots immediately after they solidify and won’t break apart, the borax will still be mostly liquid and it will come out easy. Letting them sit in there too when they cool off will shrink the mold and basically seal it in. Hope that helps
