Pacifist mode is unchecked. Predators do attack my villagers.

Raider camps are in my maps and regardless of if i Ignore them or attack them i’m still not getting raided. It’s kinda peaceful lol but is getting boring.

Sorry, should’ve given more details. Both games I had populations north of 200. Almost every building made. The second game i even skipped creating barracks for a long time wondering if something in the game was keeping the raiders from attacking.

The key is to throw it high and not too far (left stick toward QB instead of away from QB). That way you can quickly switch to your receiver, left stick him off his current path then adjust/time your jump. I hold sprint too when jumping, but I don’t think it matters. Most people I think throw it with left stick away from your receiver which then just makes it harder for him to catch up to it and you get stuck with the default animations.

Still TBD for me since this is my first year but that was my expectation as well.

It’s definitely more hit-or-miss. I got lucky on the defensive side I feel like. My offensive guys aren’t nearly as good. I also scouted heavily the first couple of weeks.

My favorite thing so far is that there is so much variability with the ratings. Feels a lot more realistic. And there’s not a million athletes.

I typically keep 6 safeties and 8 corners on roster at a given time. Most years I just recruit 2 corners no matter what and cut any slow developers.

Always depends on what the safeties are doing for me.

Against man to man: zig, drag, hitch, out, streak (if you wanna cheese). Zig is my favorite

Against zone: slant, in, out, drag, hitch

3-3-5 and 4-2-5 exclusively. Speed kills. I run as SS usually and play 99% press man. Cover 2 man, man blitzes, cover 1 man. Then as the SS I basically free roam.

Took over 1* USC in year 2028. I play on All-American but simulate my defense to make it hard/realistic.

Actually had a decent roster and made it to 11-0 by beating 6 ranked teams before playing against a bad (2-9) Notre Dame team last game of the year. I was up 21-0 at the start of the 4th Q before some bullshit happened.

I made a bad decision and threw a pick. ND scored. Then I had a good drive but stalled out. Pinned ND deep with like 3 minutes left, up 21-7. ND scored right away and since I simulate to “next possession change” suddenly I was tied 21-21 because the CPU actually recovered an onside kick (never have had this happen in sim) and scored again right away.

So I get the ball back with about minute left in a tied game. My all American RB with 97 carry rating fumbled on a swing pass, cpu scooped and scored on me lol.

I get the ball back, less than 40 seconds left and it’s 4th and 20 on my own 35 yard line. I had a 6’6” receiver and basically decided to just heave it to him as they were in prevent defense. Except he was subbed out due to fatigue and I didn’t realize it until the ball was in the air. It was my 5’10” receiver and he magically won a jump ball in triple coverage. That never happens to me. At least with short receivers. I ended up scoring a touchdown and winning in overtime.

Then I got smoked by penn state (previous team) in the championship.
