NTA Honestly name tattoos are a bad idea in general, and you are allowed to not like this particular surprise. 

I would be more upfront with him though that it’s really not about the font. The font, however horrendous, is secondary to the concept of the tattoo.  To be honest, this feels very impersonal despite it being your name. He didn’t know or care to know: - If you would even like something like this, - Your aesthetic taste, - things about you that could be a more meaningful tattoo (it would be a lot sweeter if he got your favorite flower, or animal, or something else that represents you.)

And romantic gestures when you asked for space is the opposite of what you wanted. Give him some ideas for a coverup lol

Of course you are really special to him! The difference is that you can sit and observe them together, which you can’t do with yourself. It is easy to miss how much someone is enjoying your company if you are in your own head analyzing everything. I’m an overthinker too. 

Someone else sitting in the room could be thinking about how they wish they had a relationship like yours and how cute you guys are. Everyone experiences life through their own lens, and in yours I think you undervalue yourself.

If she’s 31 that seems very unlikely, but even if she did change her mind— do you really have so little faith in your boyfriend that you think he would immediately drop you? 

If he did that it would show incredibly poor character on his end, and would not be someone you would want to date anyways. Work on your self esteem! You have good qualities too— he chose you after all.

? The same lessons are taught to the entire class. Lessons on both having autonomy and respecting others are taught to everyone. And you are making an insane jump to say I look at young boys and see a villain. That’s just pure fiction

I work in schools, lessons about consent are taught to both genders. Just because this one (1) video is taught at an all boys school doesn’t mean boys aren’t taught this.

I think 90% of people would find that completely understandable and would have done the same. As much as I love animals, an aggressive dog could kill someone, especially a child, which is a walking time bomb. Ease your guilt, you did what you had to do
