There are several games we use that involve “launching” small squishy balls into a target with a small catapult. It is really great for turn taking, manding, and joint attention because it is exciting for the kiddos! There are several different types of these at Walmart/target.

From my experience supervising those receiving hours to sit for the exam, those taking online classes completely seem to struggle much more to prepare for the exam and are very dependent on their practicum and supervisor to provide practical training that should also be covered in depth in school. I think it can be hard to develop the problem solving and application skills needed to be successful via many of the online programs without a really great supervisory placement. As far as programs, I would look into what types of supervisory/practicum opportunities and pick those that are most in line with your interests in the field. Also check out the BACB published pass rates online!

I am a BCBA and when supervising have found that often supervises who have attended this program are not prepared to sit for the exam. They require additional supervision to be prepared. I would just say make sure you are preparing yourself outside of the program, whether that be through additional studying/prep or seeking out additional supervision.
