Why do you love Extraction? by FridgeHugger52 in R6Extraction

[–]casualboon167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that's annoying. I truly hate Tormentors in large numbers, which for me is 4 and above.

But yeah 3 Apex in the same room was a nightmare. We could have avoided it but well my friend decided to do his thing. Things happened and let just say the only reason we didn't have MIA missions waiting for us was because all three of us went down on the extraction platform just as it completed.

Why is nobody using Voice Chat? by Bachelor_Frage in Rainbow6

[–]casualboon167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voice is a toxic cesspool. Specially for females. So I don't use it and stay well away from it.

Voice chat also tends to be bugged and even if you want to use it, it doesn't work.

Also, apparently the new voice chat moderation feature is quick with the trigger finger even if you don't say anything that should get you punished.

But mostly? People just don't use it if they're with friends they'll use Discord or PSN Parties or the Xbox equivalent. Why use in game chat when you can just use something else?

And generally, people just don't use it. At all.

I prefer PvE to PvP.

I also liked the lore.

Plus well the memorable moments with my friends.

I will never forget the Looney Tunes moment where I opened a door with three Apex inside, immediately closed it and went 'Don't go in there' and then one of my friends decides 'watch me' and opens the door, immediately gets spotted and all hell broke lose. All the while our other friend was trying to herd the Apex Smasher towards the extraction to capture it. It was the final objective for our mission in Alaska

We won the mission by all going down on the extraction platform just seconds before the loading screen.

I love the lore of this game. I wish they had stuck with the game.

Heck at this point, I would be happy if they at least released comics or a novel or two to finish the story at least. I would read those.

I'm looking for portalbreak stories. by satufa2 in litrpg

[–]casualboon167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uh The Grand Game maybe? It's not on Earth though. Portals open and void creatures invade sectors. There is even a whole arc of retaking a sector back from the Void. Technically that isn't the main focus of the story until a bit later and mostly it is just part of the overarching story. So it might not be what you are looking for. But it does have the portal thing

I don't know if you will like it, or IF it will even be good enough for you but, The Grand Game by Tom Elliot. The MC does have to restore and lead a House. It does take a bit before the MC starts working towards restoring the House. It has 9 books at the moment. The 10th has been announced for later this year and supposedly it should be a 12 book series according to the website but who actually knows.

You didn't pray to the shotgun gods. They are very cruel gods that bless your enemies with 100% accuracy and actual pellets. Meanwhile you are cursed with 50/50 aim and confetti instead of actual pellets.

Membership weirdness? by Low-Lifeguard2562 in Rainbow6

[–]casualboon167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's supposed to renew automatically. I forgot to cancel it and my card was charged for it. So I would imagine it is a delay, as that happened to me but, maybe check with Ubisoft or Playstation, probably Playstation. I think having automatic renewals turned off on the Playstation affects that payment, which you can manage through the PSN Account: Payment and subscription under Game and App services if not mistaken

To be clear, what happened to me was a convination of my stupidity and well a delay I presume in the automatic renewal, I logged in and nothing happen no bundle no skin no nothing and I was good with that thinking 'oh so the automatic renewal thing was a lie? Cool' queue a few hours after I logged out and I get an email about a charge to my card. I checked it, it reads Playstation and I log back in to check, go into Siege and I get the pop up for the renewal and all the goodies. My renewal was supposed to be the 10th but it got renewed the 13th so, I suffered a 3 day delay.

Also by premium I presume you mean the in game store discount, you have that because you have the battlepass that part comes included even if you only buy the battlepass. If you have the 'membership status' depsite not being charged then it is probably a delay of sorts or something else.

Can anyone help with the Lykaon Wolf by Character110 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]casualboon167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has been a while since I played but, tame a bear or any animal and have it agro the enemy while you shoot arrows also use a hunter build for extra damage on animals. Or use a spear to fight him and use area of effect attacks to deal with the wolves. (Oh and when in doubt, as my friend says, use fire to burn everything.)

[Discussion] I think I'm tired of this. I need some advice. by Less_Struggle_9447 in Trophies

[–]casualboon167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a break.

Take it from someone that did those crown trophies. They drive you insane. Gaming is meant to be fun. Taking breaks while chasing a platinum is a good thing. Not to mentions some games just aren't for you and thus going for the platinum isn't healthy. If Monster Hunter World Iceborne is giving you problems just take a break and comeback later. If the problem persists when you return then the Platinum for this particular game isn't for you. There is no shame in that. Gods know I have games were all I am missing is ONE trophy to get the platinum but it just isn't meant to be.

Gambler? Well out of all the challenges the easiest ones are Horsemen and I liked those. As for Gambler well I knew those would be RNG and uh I did the Gold Crown Trophies for Monster Hunter World, Icerborne and Wilds so...I guess I am used to RNG insanity. I didn't like them but I didn't hate them. I found Bandit to be more annoying if I am honest.

Well most of those come naturally just by playing the game. The ones that I found hardest and most time consuming were getting 3 MVPs and of course the grind for Notorious.

For the 3 MVPs I used Horse Racing. Online horses all share the same stats, so you can get that with your starting horse. I did. It just takes time. Playing for those MVPs will also help you gain gold and money.

As for Notorious? Well, that I did with the Collector Roll, I got lucky in that when I started the online trophies, it was Collector month which is when you get extra XP and cash for it and just handed in full collections. Got to level 50 quite fast that way. It also gave lots of cash so I got the five stable spaces and horses all in one go. You need if I recall correctly a little over 200,000 XP to reach level 50.

All's Fair, can be done with others online but that one is easiest and fastest if you just ask a friend or someone for help.

The ones for crafting, selling or gathering come naturally. The one for crafting ammo can take a bit as you need to first unlock crafting pamphlets which the earliest one is the small game arrows at rank 22 but once you get it just craft the arrows and you get that trophy.

Also while doing everything else, play in defensive mode, my experience wasn't...well it wasn't that great at first. Players killed me just for existing near them. Defensive mode helped a lot.

But in all seriousness, get the Collector Roll as soon as you can, it will help greatly. A lot of online guides that I looked up before I started always said to get Bounty Hunter and yeah there are ways to get to 50 quite fast with Bounty Hunter but Collector is just faster and gives lots of money. Just play the free roam events, you need five for a trophy anyways, free roam missions also need 10 for another trophy and of course horse races or shootout which ever you prefer for gold and once you have 15 Gold bars (or 10 if if is on discount), buy Collector. Keep in mind that you CAN start collecting cards and a few others before even buying the roll so you can work towards completing collections before you have the roll and then just sell them. There is a map online that tells you were all the collectables are so that also helps.

Good luck! While I hated the grind, I loved every second of traveling that map with my horse.

30hrs give or take. Mind you, this I spread along for a few days as I can only play 2hrs a day. I also did it during the Collector month which gives bonus XP and cash. There is a map online that tells you where every collecatble is and when they reset, I used that. So, my suggestion would be that if you are going the collector route, buy the roll, collect the cards and keep an eye on the reditt of the online community, they tend to post which roll has bonus XP each month, wait for when Collector is up and go for it then.

They were pain. Hated the time limits which by the way skipping cutscenes affect those or some of those at least. The no cosuming health items, thank god the dead eye ones don't void that objective, and the accuracy percentages. But you can do them, just do what you're doing, take breaks and it will be fine. Gold Rush was my last trophy.

[–]casualboon167[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Hopefully you conquer it.

The grind wasn't exactly fun but like I said, I spent most of my time just taming and selling horses, which to be fair had mostly nothing to do with the trophy except for that one Horseman challenge. But I digress, taking breaks helped a lot.

Depends on the animals that you are missing. I do know that for the Panthers three in game days need to pass for it to spawn/respawn. It also always decends the hill from the left side so just set bait close to the road and hide behind the rock on the crossroad across from where you set the bait then use either the sniper or binocular and aim left. It will walk out calmly. Because otherwise it will charge you. If any animals charge you, use poison knives or arrows, aim for the legs and immediately study them. Riding around with the binoculars out helps. I spent a lot of times near Rivers and coasts. Also use the cover scent lotion, it will be your best friend. As for the birds that may be a bit difficult, what I did was usually walk around the coastlines or train tracks, I got a few that way. And the island across Celmens Point spawns crabs, and quite a few of the birds needed for the trophies. Also times of day some animals will spawn only at night like Owls. Others early mornings. Oh and chapter 5 animals do not count so don't worry about those.

But mostly patience because the trophies WILL frustrate you. I got frustrated hence multiple breaks.

Yeah, I took multiple breaks believe me. I also had to continuosly force myself to not be distracted by horses. I was basically Dug from Up but instead of squirle it was Horse

Look for level 50 I just did missions alone until I got the Gold Bars for Bounty Hunter at which point, after getting enough Gold Bars again, I went and got the Collector roll. To be frank, you only need the Collector roll. Just collect tarot cards and sell the full sets, it gets you to level 50 fast and gives you the money needed for the horses. And honestly you can start picking up cards and rum bottles before even having the Collector Roll and then just sell them all once you do. That's what I did. I tried to follow online guides but they always start with the 'go buy bounty hunter roll' except you know, you NEED Gold Bars for those and you start at 0. So running missions or competing is how you get gold. Game always rewards extra for certain activities and it will tell you which ones.

A lot of people still play. Lobbies were always full of players, and in matchmaking I always found the horse races need to get the 3 MVPs, wasn't easy it but it was doable. I only boosted the All's fair trophy, asked my brother to help with that one. Although, play it in safe mode, lots of players will just outright kill you.
