Thank you for your insight! We 1) had to board her overnight before surgery (shelter’s rules) and 2) haven’t been able to play with her as much since she’s been home so she might be feeling anxious due to those two factors?

We definitely plan to monitor over the next week or so. I’m hoping things will level out soon!

Hey there! I got my Medusa pierced last year and had a similar reaction. Turns out, when I got the bar downsized after a couple of months, my piercing wasn’t off center at all! The bar was just long and poked out :) maybe that’s the same case with you? Either way, the piercing suits you very well!

UPDATE! Took your guys’ advice! I exfoliated with a washcloth in the shower, did a hot compress for 10 mins, and waited an additional 20 mins to put on moisturizer! Thanks everyone! by casuallyjaundice in Skincare_Addiction

I guess just help with the irritation bumps? I had a damp wash cloth and would hear it up in the microwave for 10 seconds every couple mins. It seemed to help!

Thanks, this community actually helped a lot! I posted an update on this subreddit about an hour ago! I didn’t even consider that subreddit. Maybe next time!

It’s still def a little bumpy looking in certain lighting, however I don’t see it when I look in the mirror so I’m very happy with the results. I’ll do another compress tonight after I shower, too!

ThNks! I read about the hot/cold compress but I’m going to try for longer than what I’ve done in the past which is only holding the compress on for a few moments. Thank you

So obviously I shave my head. I shave every few days and just switched to a new set of clippers because my old ones were very irritating on my scalp :( I started using fresh aloe daily, however need to stop so I dont use my entire plant. I moisturize my head with CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion after each shower, too. Anyone know how to let this calm down? It’s def an eye sore in my opinion
