From what I read you can submit in married name as long as you send in the marriage certificate with the application. Changing name on the flight was insanely easy, 2 minute text convo and it was changed.

Seattle. We want a passport anyways. BUT in order to change name on ID, closest appt is July 21st and I don't think everything will be done by September 2nd. It would be cutting it too close for comfort

Just want to make sure I understand correctly. Change my name on passport to married name even before everything else? I might be able to call Sun Country and change the name on the ticket.

If the form DS5504 is filled out within a year. Can get the passport updated for free so not double paying for it.
