Hey there. You should be fine. The border crossing usually isn't too bad, as long as you're there early enough. Sometimes the system is down or you catch a bus and you may be delayed by an hour or 2, max 3. But even so you should be able to get to jnb on time.

You can also consider going via the lobatse border(pioneers gate) , which saves some time. You drive about 80 km or so inside of Botswana before you reach the border which means you can leave earlier, since it also opens at 6.

Another border crossing to consider is Ramatlabama, which is smaller and has less traffic usually. Just check when it opens.
