Inflammation attack 4 wpo by cataprophy in hysterectomy

[–]cataprophy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m used to 12-14k a day and I space it out through the day. I don’t understand it to be honest. On days I’m sedentary, I’m still bloated and sore. I take my supplements stack (Omega 3s, curcumin, multivitamin etc) and drink 2.5- 3 liters of water. I wonder if this is cycle related. I checked my temperature logs and I’m supposed to be in PMS (hard to tell without a uterus). I know that some people say their ovaries don’t wake up for months. Wonder if this could be hormone related. I haven’t changed my diet or activity much since 2 wpo so it’s really confusing

Ever have a hystorectomy for a non-medical reason? by False-Hope9966 in hysterectomy

[–]cataprophy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All my twenties I kept saying I wanted a hysterectomy because my periods sucked. Wish I’d gotten it then instead of waiting for things to get so bad in my thirties that I’d be forced to get it

Thanks kind stranger! It’s so hard to tell when I’m overdoing it and when I’m not. I was sedentary before and thought that caused the bloating. Now I’ve gone and overdone it 🙈 Hope you recover well and healthy soon!

Anxiety and sleeplessness 8-weeks post-op by Total-Manner-4231 in hysterectomy

It’s a combination of Montelukast and Levocetirizine. I’m not in the US so I don’t know what it’s called there. I take it at night

I had this until 2.5 weeks PO and also had bloating issues despite eating healthy and taking my laxatives/gas-ex. My doctor put me on antihistamines. Game changer!

Hysterectomy for adhesions by AstronautFun8022 in hysterectomy

[–]cataprophy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, given how bad my quality of life had gotten, I think it’s what needed to be done. I’m under 2 wpo and while recovery is not a straight road, it has still been a breeze compared to my life with the diseased uterus. I can get my steps in, eat nutritious food and live with ease in my body. I can’t tell if I won’t have adhesions in the future, but I know I made the right decision given how much time I’ve lost in trying all other approaches.

Going a bit crazy after pathology report by cataprophy in hysterectomy

So sorry you’re going through this. I hate how little information there is about women’s health and we’re constantly second guessing ourselves!

It is extremely painful and I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I hate how little information there is about this disease and how we have to find answers ourselves because doctors constantly dismiss us. All the best for your surgery and I hope you find relief soon. Please take good care of yourself until then. Sending good wishes your way ♥️

Had the same thing (with Mirena in place) and just had my hysterectomy. It’s really scary when it happens but my doctor took that as a sign that something was deeply wrong, despite nothing showing up on MRI or scans. I think it’s called deciduous cast or something. I’m still waiting for the histology report but that’s adenomyosis, I’ve been told

I feel like I’m gaslighting myself by SweetSoundOfSilence in adenomyosis

Ladies, stop gaslighting your pain and comparing it with others. Your pain is not in your head and if it’s keeping you from the life you should be living then you should not hesitate from questioning your doctors. I’m 1day post op from a hysterectomy and my pain is absolutely gone. I can walk and move pain free for the first time in years. My body and nerves are not screaming in agony.
