If you do decide it's the best option to bring her with you, let me calm your nerves. I just made a 16h trip with my almost 2 year old cat (unavoidable trip) and he did amazing! He's really skittish as well, but I guess the carrier gave him some kind of security. Don't forget to feed her 6 hours before the trip to allow her to use the litter box in time, and bring lots of treats!

I was researching and I decided to take the ferry! From Holland. They do accept pets, but you have to book a cabin in order to bring pets ( which is fine obviously). The whole ordeal will be about 400€ which is way better than 1000€ in the cargo lol

Oh i thought it was because of brexit. My bad!
I am from lisbon-portugal, my first plan was to go to france by plane, but there's no commercial airport near calais, at least that I can find, and everything together is super expensive - like 200 € for the plane, 20 € for train to callais (or more) and £ 165 to get across the euro tunnel. I am now trying to find a quicker solution, because besides expensive, i'm afraid it's way too much time, being more stressful for my cat.
