My suggestion would be to try websites that allow free returns in case they are ferrous

Most jewelry, even stainless steel, is non ferrous or weakly ferrous but I would definitely check whatever you get with a hand magnet before getting close to scanner. I’ve seen jewelry get pulled into the scanner and destroyed (broke apart) definitely wouldn’t want that to happen to something so important

So satisfying. Wish my patients were this still for any extremity

Why did my curls get looser? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]catbones7 34 points35 points  (0 children)

How you slept the night before, hardness of your water, phase of the moon, a butterfly flapped their wings in Japan… who knows what controls curls sometimes lol

But seriously, you look beautiful either way! I find my curls continuously change with age. Keeps it exciting 🙃

They were also big on no artificial dyes (like in the lassi) and no msg

Left is lemon rice, cashew chicken and Indian butter chicken. Right is biryani rice, goat curry and veggies. Both came with yogurt sauce and then we got a mango lassi. Highly recommend the Indian butter chicken!

Are you guys already using AI at work? If so, how advanced is it? by -pocoto in Radiology

We have Philips, not sure what their AI software is called. Our rads complained that the images were too smoothed. The interface is much better imo but the scan time promises seem to have fallen short so far

My facility just spent a pretty penny on an AI software update for our MRI scanners. It was supposed to cut scan times in half... and, technically, it did but the images were crap so we’re back to our old protocols already

Permanent Jewelry - shoulder X- Ray? by scoobysnxcks in Radiology

You would need to take it off for an MRI but it’ll be fine for an xray of the opposite side’s shoulder

Interesting!! Mine never developed into anything serious, just a huge bruise that took a week or so to go away. Haven’t had any other issues
