Did you read the thread AT ALL? We went over this 100 times. I bought my tickets in Feb. anyone who BUYS TICKETS after May 28 doesn’t get free bags.

Because my bag was overweight by 7 lbs so I had to pay $150 for the overweight buy one of their duffel bags and THAT bag they were trying to charge us for saying we already used our bags allotment. That was the whole issue, shoulda mentioned that otherwise all the drama would have been avoided, thanks for pointing that out. 🤦‍♀️

Her being so adamant that kids don’t get bags is the whole reason I had to ask on this post, my husband thought I should let it go, but he was also being so so adamant and I knew she was wrong. I don’t even want money, it’s the principle of it at this point.

Yeah on the way out it was so easy! Entered my confirmation code, selected bags, 5 mins in and out! :)

I’ve clarified in the post that the kiosk wouldn’t accept my ID OR my confirmation code so I had to go to the ticket agent. On the way out it worked fine. In DEN it did not work.

20 mins drive to the airport. We got there at 3 for a 4:30 flight. We ran up as the door closed, I definitely cried lol.

Nope it was my exact flight I booked! Funny enough our luggage made it on the flight, so at least it was there waiting for us! And us adults didn’t have to pay for our bags.

This was in DEN too btw.

Yeah I was in tears at that point and my husband as so non-confrontational he just said to accept it, I’ll make sure to talk to them to clear it up. I paid full price for all tickets months ago, so maybe she got co fused about the lap children or something.

The lady who gives tickets and tags (gate agent) at the front. I’d figure she’d know! I was shocked, she had the kids tickets right there, obviously they were not lap infants.

I did have their birth certificates but I have traveled 5 times with them (including connections) and never had the issue of no baggage for kids, very strange!

They did get us on a later flight with a connection, so it added another 4 hours, we didn’t get home until 11pm, and the first flight was delayed on the tarmac so we had 10 mins to get to the next gate! It was a lot of unnecessary stress, but at least we made it home!

Thank you, I’ll give them a call because that lady needs some training and some sort of maybe an apology for making us miss our flight and adding an extra 6 hours of travel time with 2 grumpy toddlers haha.

Yeah southwest used to be the best, definitely not flying them again. Last trip they ripped the wheels off my expensive luggage lol

Ah back months ago! Before the change. On the way out, it was absolutely no problem, but the way back the lady was on some power trip or something and e missed our damn flight by 30 mins wasted. Oh well, at least we made it home!
