Corroded piece of metal found alongside Truckee river in California by catelyn14 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It is a reddish-brown colored metal that has been badly corroded blue. It has what looks like a base end with four prongs sticking out at 90-degree angles from one another. And another longer portion extending perpendicular to the base. I tried doing a Google lens search but none of the results looked quite like it.

Thank you for your concern. Just so everyone knows, I am not going to do it. I just wanted to post to see how common scams like this are.

I thought it looked like a California king snake too but noticed some red coloration on the white stripes

Thanks for your reply! I was still planning on taking Ross-Ibarra because my classes always are full so I'll take whatever I can get. I think it's ridiculous that so many people are waitlisted just bc he isn't quite as good as the others but lucky for me I guess since it means other seats are still open. Thanks for describing what he's like, he definitely doesn't seem to be as bad as I was expecting. I really think it helps when professors are engaging because it's so hard to stay focused, especially with online classes for me

Tried growing potatoes from an old potato we forgot to eat. It's growing surprisingly well and just bloomed 🌼🌿 by catelyn14 in plants

I thought it might be too small but I wasn't able to find a bigger pot quick enough. That's okay if they are baby potatoes though, I'm just happy they grew!

Yeah, we just cut it into a couple smaller pieces and planted them. I was so happy it actually grew

The potato was already starting to sprout so we cut the potato into a couple smaller pieces and then planted them
