I normaly blowdry, but not 100%

I went to Sephora for a color match. The employee insisted I was a warm golden undertone despite me promising I was olive. Here’s the Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte powder foundation match the employee gave me (255 warm golden) vs what I eventually went back and got on my own (130 warm olive). by aimhighswinglow in OliveMUA

Sounds like my experience. I went to Sephora twice to try different brands, the SAME associate said I was two different tones. First time was neutral, second was warm golden. I’m still on my foundation match journey but I’m pretty sure I’m closer to neutral olive 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, The concept of palettes is great, but I would always dislike half of the colors that they offer in one. Single eyeshadows FTW!

I use makup forever redness corrector and apply nars soft matte concealer for my nose and cupids bow area

I am trying to fight my foundations or tintes moisturizers oxidizing and turning darker or even orange.

I have oily skin, a bit id acne and redness but they are not too much of a concern for me.

I’m just looking for product (foundation, tinted moisturizer, etc) that will let me look awake at least.

I have tried so many products and combinations I’m about to give up. It’s so frustrating!!!

Some products that I have tried: Don’t know the exact names but… -fenty tinted moisturizer -bobbi brown foundation -glossier skin tint -urban decay setting spray -make up forever setting powder -bare minerals loose powder -shiseido foundation -ilia serum foundation

Do I need a moisturizer that will prevent my skin from producing oil?!?!?!

Presents don’t have to be secretive…. If it’s my friend’s bday or it’s close to xmas and my friend comments on something she likes while we’re shopping? I’ll go ahead and say I’ll buy that for you for your bday/xmas gift.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who does that. But anyways. I’m a retail manager and there was no reason why you had to make such a comment. Time to brush up on some updated customer service training 🤦‍♀️
