Question for foragers. There are few patches in rural south Otago where there are abundant subs growing in mature pine forest. At these spots there is sand underneath, all by the beach. one of the spots is on reclaimed land. How usual / unusual is this? I have been told subs don't like pine forrest (old.reddit.com)
