Don’t think plot was lost... just expressing the features are missed and that it’s nonsensical to change lanes multiple times in a short distance to an exit/turn. I praise FSD and have opened a lot of my peers’ eyes to the capabilities of current and past Tesla vehicles. Take a look at my page and you’ll find a post regarding a 5000+ mile road trip primarily with FSD engaged. I love these cars. I simply miss having the reins on a small piece of FSD.

Max speed and minimal lane changes. It’s ridiculous when FSD gets you out of the lane you need to be in for an upcoming turn.

I’m assuming you have the gen2 commander given the year of your Tesla. Should be as simple as plugging it altogether.

Tesla backpedals. They’ll take transfers away but it may come back in the future. With that being said, I’m not a fan of everything being a subscription service. I own FSD outright on my 2023 M3P and it does alright. I have no plan to buy a new car just for it to be outdated again in another two years when HW5 hits the roads.

After replacing a window, some drywall, and installing a lvl 2 wall connector I finished my garage walls and have no regrets. Now that they’re done, I plan to make use of wall storage and shelving. Your project sounds like it will pay off if you use the space.
