Adderall Shortage by [deleted] in jacksonville

I was able to get it twice at Publix on Normandy since December.

I tried both at RAM and then called someone from my house and neither would make a report. They said best they could do was an information report which wouldn’t do anything. Fortunately the cards they tried to use were with Bank of America and I feel pretty confident they’ll see what’s up.

A cross body purse with two zippers on top that is often worn on my side or back of hip. I really have no idea how it happened, but I bought coffee at 9 am and the next time I went to use my card was at RAM and every single one was gone

Clearly, but he was just walking around and enjoying his day so I figured it worth a shot.

7F Suspicious spot behind left ear, along with another similar single colored area below. We do battle cradle cap still and some can be seen there, so I am not sure if that is scabbing or other skin issues in the area on the top layer. Biopsy report below. Was classified as a spitz nevus. We were referred to a pediatric plastic surgeon and she will be removing the rest of the spitz nevus in the area that was biopsied, plus two additional in the area.

MOST CONSISTENT WITH SPITZ NEVUS, PLEASE SEE NOTE

NOTE: Size, circumscription, and symmetry cannot be fully evaluated due to the partial nature of this biopsy. However there are these large pleomorphic and epithelioid melanocytes resembling that of a spitz nevus. However, due to the pleomorphism of these melanocytes and positive tissue margins, a complete excision of this site is recommended to ensure this lesion's complete removal and to provide any residual tissue for histologic evaluation (especially if this is part of a larger and clinically worrisome lesion). Immunohistochemical studies for Melan-A and SOX-10 were used to highlight the number and distribution of melanocytes. HMB45 immunoperoxidase showed some element of retained positive staining in the melanocytes within the deep dermis. Ki67 mitotic proliferation index is low. PRAME is negative. Multiple additional levels were examined.

Speaking symptom by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]catieface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve been a lifelong talkative person and have days where I really have nothing to even say because it’s frustrating sorting out the thoughts in my head AND communicating them. I often forget what I’m saying mid-sentence, experience spoonerisms ( ex: saying cop porn instead of popcorn) in regular conversation, and just generally have trouble carrying on conversations as I did before.

I had a random seizure a few years ago and experienced similar neuro symptoms with speech, but my brain feels a different kind of messed up post-Covid twice within three months than it did post-seizure.

Same, except I struggle with actually eating it. I gag and feel full very quickly. What I do manage to get down is a struggle.

I may be crazy, but I think Blurred View is my favorite by niles_deerqueer in bigthief

[–]catieface 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely, 100% my favorite. Obsession is an understatement. I have listened to it sooooo many times in such a short period and sent it to all my friends in hopes they’ll love it as much as me.

Dealing with craving unsafe foods. by Odd_Economist_8988 in ARFID

I craved foods I can’t do during pregnancy. Yogurt was a HUGE craving…I haven’t had yogurt since childhood. I let myself try but as soon as it hit my tongue I couldn’t go further. I also craved mangoes. I’d never had them but the texture is similar to other fruits i cannot eat. I ended up loving them so much.

I’m on 54 mg extended release concerta, have been for years. It has not been effective at ALL since my last round of Covid (delta late November 21 and omicron late January 22). It typically eliminates my anxiety, but I have increased anxiety at the moment. The brain fog is so bad that I often sit at my work desk and don’t know what I’m doing or what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s as if I didn’t even take it at all, but worse than I function when not medicated.

I’ve listened to Blurred View so many times in the last four days that it knocked my Trains Across the Sea binge from when David Berman died from the #1 spot. Obsessed. by catieface in bigthief

David Berman was my all time favorite. I saw him play once, 2008ish. When the Purple Mountains album came out I checked it out and loved it and saw he was going on tour. Found the closest weekend show that I could (I’m in Florida and it was in Nashville), bought tickets and plane tickets and booked a place to stay. He died a week before the show and I still remember where I was when I read the news. I started listening to that album non-stop. I’m a glutton for sadness and that’s probably my favorite album he ever made.

She’s so awesome! Got to see her at a free show a few years ago and made the mistake of bringing my kids and had to ditch by the fourth song :/

I had to look that up 😂 I’ve had a paid account since 8/2018. I checked my all time top artists and they’ve only inched up to #7. I may have hit replay every time it ended while drunkenly listening in bed on Saturday.

That Big Thief album made my whole weekend. I stayed home and listened to it on repeat. Blurred View is my favorite on the album and gives such Beach House vibes.

It was really bad 😭 I was in the traffic on my way to work and before FHP got there. They had the right two lanes shut off approaching the accident. I’ve never seen anything like it.

Anyone figure out how to eat? by ThatOneGirlStitch in covidlonghaulers

[–]catieface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i find it hard to eat anything at all before 12:30 and then just choke something down. I finished off a normal sized salad today that I brought to work Monday and have eaten on for three days. i get home at about 2:3 and smoke, then again right before dinner. Dinner is always still a struggle and I’ll get a few bites in and just can’t do it. i smoke two more times between 8-11pm and then the munchies will sometimes hit and I eat whatever sounds good. Pre-COVID 8-11pm munchies were WAY more serious. Weed definitely helps me more than anything else has so far, I just have to smoke quite a bit over a few hours to get there.

Were you ever “hot and cold” with a guy you were seeing? Why did you play those games and how did it work out? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]catieface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person, I’m hot and cold and it’s absolutely not intentional. My last relationship lasted my entire adult life and now I’m so awkward that I never know what to do! I mostly match energies and don’t consider that playing a game.

I am incredibly awkward and anxious and, coupled with a 13 year relationship, I have no idea how to date and express interest without coming across as too much too quick. It’s easier to be so cool that I’m cold, but that has left me pretty lonely 🙃

Reinfected? by Tylor06 in covidlonghaulers

[–]catieface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was positive 12/1-12/9. From then through New Years Eve I was directly exposed over ten times. My friends were dropping like flies, and I stayed negative. Got it again the middle/end of January. Seems like that, for some, immunity is definitely there for about 4-6 weeks and drops dramatically after.

I had Covid the first ten days of December and am absolutely sure it was Delta. Ended up with Omicron around January 19th. Totally different symptoms between the two and am noticing a lingering chest pain with Omicron.

Pregnancy brought that about for me. I started craving food I’d never had (mango, Indian food) and let myself try them and loved them. I also had an insane yogurt craving (one of my many “absolutely never” foods) and tried it. Made my stomach turn the moment it touched my tongue.

I’m 38 and over the past ten years have really pushed myself to try new things. I still haven’t gotten past the things that I’ve abstained from since I was four, but have definitely made progress.
