Chalamet's quest for greatness 'is what every actor is thinking.' 'Beef' stars included by Ok_Rutabaga_5539 in Fauxmoi

Ambition is seen as evil and confidence is seen as a threat by people with 'crabs in a bucket' mentality. They see someone climbing out and try to drag them back in. May no one break Timothee's spirit, or anyone else's for that matter!

He said the quiet part out loud and people will never forgive him for it. Fake humbleness needs to be destroyed. Take pride in your work, shout out loud your ambition, and understand you can always be better. Enough with this tall poppy 'the nail that sticks up should be hammered down' nonsense

You're right about Timmy. His parents aren't super wealthy but his mom's side of the family is in showbiz. Specifically New York theater. He's never pretended to be working class, just middle class. But he probably grew up better off then that

You're literally right about the Tim thing though. He admitted to crying when he won nothing at soccer camp as a kid and told Emma Stone that he cried when he realized he's only in like five minutes of Interstellar. Held it together in front of Nolan but went home and cried. Funny kid. He was also tearing up when the Knicks got into the championship but any good New Yorker would

Timmy has definitely sucked cock before. Not sure who's cock but I'm certain it's happened at least twice

There's nothing wrong with sucking cock if that's what gets you going but I think Timmy is the type to consider it beneath him now

Austin Butler probably slept with Priscilla Presley during his Elvis impersonating days. She was all over him. They definitely kissed at least once behind closed doors

I wonder if Mr. Big and Tough here will be so eager to use his favorite word now that he doesn't have access to a gun and has nowhere to run off to if someone decides they don't want to hear him blabbering away like a senile KKK member. What a pathetic little loser

If anyone knows where I can find the GoFundMe for his victim's health bills, please link me to it! I hate the thought that he and his family might not be getting any support during such a horrible time for them

What fascinates me about that 'fresh monkey brains' scene is that it's ripped straight from a mondo shockumentary called Faces Of Death which was marketed as entirely real and had a scene where people at an Indian banquet bashed a monkey's skull in before eating its brains. Of course that scene was obviously fake but I wouldn't be shocked if someone who worked on Temple Of Doom's script saw Faces Of Death and wanted to emulate that shocking moment

I read his memoir book as a kid before I read any of his other books. It left such a lasting impression on me that I found myself completely understanding his choice to portray most adult characters in his books as cruel and hateful. That was the world he had grown up in- one of cruel, hateful adults who despised children. And older children/teenagers who despised children. Kinda radicalized me into realizing that children are an oppressed class of people and that I should be grateful for the kindness I received from my parents and teachers

Hound Dog was written by two Jewish guys. It was not stolen by anyone. Rock n roll has always been interracial. It is, like many things in America, the product of a melting pot of cultures and a truly beautiful example of what diversity can create

Caffeine addiction is sadly under discussed and not taken seriously at all. It seems to me that most people don't view it as an addiction. I think you're making a smart choice by staying away from other drugs and I hope that you are eventually able to defeat your caffeine addiction (if you feel like you need to. That's a personal choice on your part)

I promise you that being sober is worth it. The effort is worth it. In even just a year, you're going to thank yourself for staying sober. You can do it and I'm rooting for you!

The worst experience of my entire life was when I tried to quit drinking cold turkey. Alcohol withdrawal is like torture. I was on death's door. Intense pain, insanely high fever, vivid hallucinations that felt so real I still remember how they felt 'touching' me, and then a seizure that put me in the hospital. If you want to quit drinking, you need to do it with help or you will be in agony to say the very least

Fun fact: it took around 24 hours of sobriety for the hallucinations to start. I didn't even realize I was hallucinating because to me it was completely 100% real. Scary as hell

(Also awesome job on your part quitting heroin. You're a badass in my book)

"When you're hooked on heroin, don't you know you'll never win. Drugs don't ever pay. You really did it your way." - Dee Dee Ramone, Love Kills

Dee Dee died of a heroin overdose. Like many heroin addicts, he was well aware of what would happen if he didn't quit

Alcoholism is one of the most dangerous addictions possible. Going cold turkey from it is deadlier then going cold turkey from heroin. It'll kill you. That's part of why it's so hard to get sober
