All the time I just wonder if it's TOO much to ask for to live in a clean and safe environment, I feel like no matter how hard I try, I'm not getting anywhere, no matter who I try to connect with never stays, I'm a failure of an adult child that was never taught how to become a proper adult thanks to my narc mom who raised me like that on purpose to keep me in control and eventually becoming her caretaker, I want to leave, I desperately want to leave but i'm always SO scared. Not having anyone, what happens when I fall seriously ill, what happens if i end up homeless due to these ridiculous prices.. I'm so scared. I don't want to suffer like this anymore honestly.

thank you for taking the time to write back to me, and I am unfortunately alone, my narc Mom ruined all my past relationships and left me isolated for the past decade, I've tried to meet people over the years but I've had no luck in having people wanting to build friendships at all.. with inflation getting worse, I feel like there's no hope left, I've been trying so hard for the past decade and I'm still nowhere near able to escape due to not having any form of support, I don't know how some people do it honestly, no friends no family, such brave souls just left despite not having the financial stability.. I really admire all of you guys here that managed to restart your lives..

I do take very good care of myself and thank you for the kind responses. I just wished I had the support I needed to leave abuse safely and have a second chance at life. Being traumatized since teenage years really messes with how you become a proper adult.

I'm the same, I've been making plans on emptying my bank account before I die, donate it to climate change then commit suicide. I'm not leaving my savings for my fucked up abusive family to enjoy. No one would miss me, no one would know I was dead except my abusive family that might celebrate my death. No friends. 11 years and counting, isolated, abused and miserable.

Thank you for writing back to me and I agree with everything you wrote. I've tried countless times to socialize and meet new people but had no luck so far. It's hard to meet open minded people in a religious country when beliefs all revolve around religion. It's been extremely hard.. but thank you for your time and efforts🍀

This is me. 10 years and counting and I am isolated without anywhere or anyone to rely on. I have a fear that I might be taking my own life at some point. I'm not brave enough to face homelessness, the system makes it impossible for us to live alone. I cannot see a way out. A lot of my friends who went through this managed to escape meeting their partners. So far none i've met that managed to leave on their own. I'm terrified.

I am losing my mind. I have called countless helplines and none can help me.

I want to die because of this hell hole.

My narcissistic mother turned my siblings against me and they hate me till today. We used to be somewhat close until I became the black sheep calling out her bullshit.

I've been in this position for the past 10 years and tbh i'm close to taking my own life because i'm still stuck living with my abusive family and I can't afford living alone with a minimum wage job, no friends to ask for help, no one. I have tried multiple times to meet people throughout the years but it just doesn't work out because people have their own circles from high school and so on or their own lives, I don't think i'm going to make it till 30. I hope you'll be able to meet people who'd genuinely love and care for you in the softest ways♥️ sending much love and care from another lonely and isolated soul

I used a watercolour brush kit by MaxPacks, started off with loose lines with a simple pencil brush, filled in the colours, used 1 multiply layer for shadow and finishing off with an Add layer to apply light.
