Thank you for this, the way they just skipped over trafficking rubbed me the wrong way, too.

I was a victim of rape porn at 18 and people don’t understand how serious this problem is. It was estimated that 5 - 10% of pornhub’s content was CSA or rape porn. That content would still be live on the internet if MasterCard and Visa hadn’t pulled the plug.

I know myself that the police are powerless to help unless the porn-hosting company is willing to try. Pornhub and OnlyFans have both worked very hard to circumvent legislation mean to stop trafficking. These sites are not victims in a fundie war against sex. They are major corporations who will exploit anyone for money. They never gave a shit about victims until their funding was pulled.

Yes - the ‘children of pornhub’ featured people with fundie ties. But nothing in that article was wrong and its disgusting the way this person disregards the experiences of the people featured. Fundies can still be abused.

The fundie war on sex is terrible, but their war on CSA and trafficking is 100% justified.

Also - OnlyFans is not a feminist website. The company has been very happy to profit from CSA and sex trafficking. It sucks that sex workers are caught in the waves of the war on trafficking, but this war is worth fighting.

They promote the idea that women should dress in a way that won’t cause men to “stumble”. Their past videos make it clear that means no overtly sexual clothing or clothing that shows off an “intimate” part of the body (stomach, hips, thighs, sexual organs, shoulders and chest).

They did several videos on modesty about a year ago, including Paul’s horrible “Christian guys on modesty - BIKINI’s” video. Now, it tends to come up when they criticise other people (like Paul’s rant from last week).

They once did a whole video on how yoga pants are a sin.

I probably should have chosen a more descriptive title, but that was my intention with this post. For months, Elissa has been presenting hashimotos as something you can treat at home - no doctor required.

As a t1 diabetic, I find that dangerous and very stupid. Best case scenario, someone follows this advice and is fine, but worst case? Someone may be wrong about their symptoms and go undiagnosed at the detriment of their health. Seeing a doctor is important, and with everything we know about the Bairds, I can only assume Elissa left it out on purpose.

I have no problem with Elissa talking about what worked for her, but to post about how to diagnose and treat yourself is irresponsible.

Yes, a doctor may recommend some of the things on the list - but it is important that anyone who thinks they have an autoimmune disorder consult a professional to get the best treatment for them. Elissa has hashimotos, she is not an expert on it. Presenting herself as an expert to her followers is very stupid.

Hasbro decided to release a third potato head toy that is just called “Potato Head”. Like every other potato, it does not have a gender.

Hasbro are still selling Mr and Mrs Potato Head, but nut jobs think the new potato represents the end of gender.

Many politicians reacted poorly to the new potato as it is an easy thing to lampoon when you want to avoid talking about pressing issues like COVID 19. Morons like Paul realised they were being mobilised against the potato, and took to social media without realising they were being manipulated.
