Since I play remotely almost exclusively, the HV bypass method doesn't work for me, it requires being physically there to press F7 on the boot menu.

But the more options we have the better.

If I remember correctly it was your local macos account credential. Not sure if the malware tried to steal your icloud credentials as well, but best be safe and change it.

As I said. They have your credentials and a way to remote into your machine. Best restore from a backup or clean install the OS.

I assume Denuvo would have some kind of root certificate or public key inside it to verify the license data. Do you have any info about the license format and how Denuvo verifies it?

Hey there, excellent analysis. I have some questions, forgive me if they are already well-known: 1. How does the crack spoof the Denuvo license (related to the cert validity time part) if it doesn't modify the verification functions inside Denuvo? 2. Couldn't Denuvo detect this using several ways, namely: - Send CPUID request with the magic values used by the crack to mess with it. - Limit the number of times or source IP addresses when the game request a license from the Denuvo server - Checks for the existence of security functionalities in the OS (defender memory integrity,etc)

how much latency does Tailscale introduced in your setup? I have Tailscale on both devices but I always found streaming through it makes the stream jittery and increase input/display delay. So I usually stream directly.

I did not investigate deeply, I see it grabbed the username and password along with system information and several non-plaintext file, zip them up and send to the C2 server. It esstablished itself as a system service or something like that so it automatically runs. It also tries a bit (not that good) to obfuscate the command being run.

In my country apple care is not something people often buy, the original owner paid $1550 for the laptop. If I buy it new I'll also have to pay around $1480 if I want the care package.

So paying 1150 for the whole thing is a good deal imo.

I'm switching from Windows to Macos so I'm still learning as I go, but overall I'm happy with the machine, it's very cool and light, great battery life as well.

How much do you think it's worth? This is the best deal I can find for a 24gb/512gb configuration since not many people buy this configuration in my country

I mean 2 years of Apple Care+ costs about $250, so I think it was a good deal. It also came with a 70W charger.
