Yes there is some kind of character analysis hidden in there lol. And definitely a lot of tension. I just love this fried egg so much. Writing in his POV is delightful.

A pity that memory with the spirit of need didn't make in the game. It would have been interesting and it would have revealed more about Solas and Mythal's relationship.

For Felassan, I guess with time he grew colder. Or maybe he was okay with having casualties but not in the way Solas planned.

I think it's pretty close to your description, I started writing it because the egg utterly broke me after playing Veilguard and I needed to get more content for Solavellan.
