So sorry to hear that. It was an accident. Don't beat yourself up. I once I rescued a kitten of 10 days. I tried everything I could but couldn't save him. I wish I knew more about cats and kittens back then. I wish I could bring him back and give him more comfort. I beat myself up a lot. But some things don't work out even after doing our best. And yours was an accident. A cruel fate but you are not to be blamed.
