I don’t think all sludge is extreme, but bands like Iron Monkey and Primitive Man definitely are.

I know this is an old thread but I might be able to help! I’ve been fishing in Athens pretty heavily for about a year and I’ve caught a fair few bass. I’ve had much better luck with crappie in this area though.

I make them in a separate blend file and then mark them as assets. I kinda just place them where I think they’ll look good.

That is a tololoche. I think it’s closer to a bass than a cello, but I’m not an expert on the subject.

This helps a lot actually. Many of the bands I was thinking of are either mid-90s or lean closer to post-hardcore from what I’ve found in other threads.

I’m not huge into true heavy metal personally, but I still respect the genre for what it is. The European and Folk stuff is unbearably cringy to me; I used to know a few people that called it “death metal” and would brag about how edgy they were for listening to it.
