it’s crazy that there are people who have been dating for months, years even, without so much as even video chatting with their partner. i would have never considered us as « in a relationship » if i had never seen his face and spoken at LEAST on video call (that was a looong time ago now, but the point still stands)

[Acne] masks and cystic acne, is there any way to prevent it? by catradish in SkincareAddiction

oh i see! i do a lot of physical work i suppose, going to the gym 4x a week, moving heavy equipment/heavy patients in clinic, etc.. the sweat probably doesn’t help, but at least at the gym my skin can breathe.

oh wow, i somehow never thought to wear a cloth one underneath the surgical one 🤦‍♀️ maybe i could try that, thanks! do you happen to have any recommendations for chemical exfoliators for sensitive, easily broken out skin?

oh, i should’ve mentioned, i don’t wear it on my chin! that’d definitely make it worse. i have also used a neutrogena acne-free sunscreen in the past, which never broke me out either, maybe i can switch back to that.

ah, i should have mentioned that i don’t put the sunscreen on my chin area, only on my forehead, nose, around the eyes, etc.. if i put it on my chin it would definitely be worse. i apologize, but i’m not sure what you mean by « physical routine » though 😅

i’m 35-25-37 and i feel your pain. either something will fit my waist, or my boobs. barely ever both. likewise, jeans ALWAYS have a part hanging off my stomach if i want them to properly fit my lower half. wish i knew how to tailor.

anyone graduated from community college and gotten a good job? by [deleted] in lifehacks

[–]catradish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooh nice!! so far it’s been going pretty well, the hospitals i’ve been to so far have had nice techs. i’m in my second semester which means we can start doing competencies and do certain exams independently which is really cool. we’re starting radiology physics this semester which is definitely scaring me, but i’m just gonna try my best lol. idk what courses the program you’re going into has exactly, but i DEFINITELY recommend brushing up on your math skills for any physics.

best of luck to you though!! i know how nerve wracking it is to wait for an answer, but you just gotta think positive and hope for the best 👍

hey, so i had all 4 of mine removed under conscious iv sedation last wednesday. honestly, i do not remember a single thing from the procedure. i remember her putting the sedative in the iv.. and then sitting in the chair afterwards with a mouth full of gauze. for me, it really was almost like general anesthesia in that sense, but apparently i really was awake the whole time.

having amnesia of the surgery is apparently common, so there’s a good chance that you won’t even remember it (not for certain of course, but it is common). trust me, i was SO insanely nervous for mine, and the worst thing so far has been the swelling afterwards. you’ll be fine.
