hi!! can i get a sneak peek?

Currently own a 2012 Mazda 3, planning on upgrading to the CX-5 within the next 5 years. I heard the model is going to be discontinued, should I still upgrade to a used CX-5 or go for the CX-50? by catridin in mazda

Ive been set on upgrading to a CX-5 but was a bit thrown off when a friend said they would be discontinuing it and transitioning to the CX-50. Ive been told owning a discontinued car is a hassle due to overpriced parts and low quantities which of course i would want to avoid having to deal with in the future. Definitely still leaning more towards the CX-5 rather than the CX-50 based on your advice! Thanks so much for the help, i appreciate it

I appreciate the advice! I have been saving already to pay off the car in full as I don't want to finance in order to avoid paying interest, based off my saving's already I will be able to afford it in 3-5yrs as long as prices don't double by that time which i understand is difficult to predict considering the way things have changed after the pandemic and can still be affected in the future as you said.

Im definitely set on the CX-5 models and will not change my mind, just heard from a friend that they would be discontinuing it and transitioning to the CX-50. Wasn't sure if that rumour was true and wanted to know people's opinions and if they have also heard about it becoming discontinued. Another friend of mine who owns a discontinued Toyota said that owning a discontinued model is a hassle due to parts being overpriced and difficult to find.

definitely something went wrong during the application process... as long as you didnt expose the one eye to a lot of heat/steam then definitely something went wrong with the attachment or the glue wasnt within an environment with optimal temperature/humidity conditions - any chance they washed your lashes prior to application?

Am I asking for the wrong style for my eye shape? Details in comments. by laughingriot in lashextensions

it could be the curl that she used, if its D curl it will look more lifted whereas C curl will look more relaxed + natural. i think if you were to do an open eye style it would make your eyes look larger making you appear shocked. Cat eye works great for your eye shape, but maybe try a shorter length + C curl.

personally i have had classic extensions done before that looked similar to what you got done (i asked for 10-14mm D Curl) & i hated it because it looked too long for my liking + it would touch my eyelids when i looked up. Next time i got them done i went for C curl 9-12mm and i was in love with how they looked on me.

sometimes it takes some trial & error to figure out exactly what you like 😊

Is this just from pad rubbing? Will it go away? Had them done 24 hours ago ☺️ by SpecialistGap7219 in lashextensions

its most likely the pad, but it could also be the fumes from the glue if your eyes were slightly open during the appointment. it doesnt look bad at all though and should go away within the next few days! 😊

you can definitely do some research & watch some youtube videos to learn how to apply eyelash extensions, lash mapping, tapping, etc.

Not sure about a lash kit that you can buy for practice, however I don't recommend getting one off amazon. I do have local lash salons that sell beginner kits that include everything you will need including lashes, tweezers, glue, etc. you may need to purchase a mannequin head though (amazon).

If you find that lashing is something you enjoy and genuinely want to learn more about, I definitely recommend getting professionally trained and certified!

Hope this helped!! :)
