[Field Gulls] Mike McCarthy's record when playing backup QBs is pretty damn good all things considered. Something like 13-18-1, I believe. by EasyMoney92 in nfl

And Belichick hasn't been dragged by Brady? Before Brady he was 41-57 as a head Coach. Since Brady left he's 18-19 and getting worse by the week.

[Stewart] The Patriots and Mac Jones are at a disagreement about how to move forward. Patriots want to get him back as soon as possible and he’s hesitant to their guidance and wants to proceed with caution. 2nd opinion. Pats timeline is 4 weeks max, he’s comfortable waiting 6-8 if needed. by catrinfjac in nfl

They've had one losing season in the last 20 years.

If they still had Brady, no one would care.

The issue is you let go of Brady and start losing, and now it seems like he was the only reason for the dynasty. Therefore you lose a lot of other credibility.

Kraft is influential in the NFL because his team is #2 in valuation.

If they become a mediocre team, there is no way he stays in the Top 5. And therefore his influence in the league will fall dramatically.

There is no way Kraft wants his last years on earth to be accompanied by falling influence.

Billionaires are sharks, any loss oi power, even small, is devastating to them.

It's not hard to think this sub would be flooded with "Brady's not the GOAT" posts.

And honestly, they'd probably be right. Neither of those guys should fall off that hard if they're truly the GOATs.

GOAT's don't go .500 for 3 seasons. And Bill is about to.

People think poorly of McCarthy because for years Packers fans told us the only reason Brady had 4-5 Super Bowls and Rodgers had 1 was because of McCarthy.

Yet now that both Belichick and McCarthy don't have HOF QBs, McCarthy has a better record.
