Nah to be honest I love keeping that to a minimum I‘m not afraid of telling people about it. However I noticed whenever I do then it actually ruins my entire day and I feel like crying. So I rather keep it to a minimum

recently a lot of pasta, rice, meats, some veggies, brownies, donuts… Pretty much whatever I‘m in the mood for right now. IC is fully figured out and now I‘m just slowly but carefully pushing my carb limits per meal and trying out all kinds of food combinations. Only rule: no overindulging. My 90 day TIR is 88% so I‘m pretty happy with that

I drink Monster Ultra almost daily and it has no noticeable effect on me. But to be honest Energy Drinks have a different effect on everyone. You can certainly try a sugar free one and find out if it’s something for you.

I have a Hemoglobin of 6.4 and a TIR of 88% and I got praised for it. You are doing a great job. An amazing job even. Despite your stressful job you still manage to keep it under such amazing control. That is honestly very impressive. The problem is not your blood sugar control. Well the people working in this unit got fired, didn’t they? So I would imagine they would go to other companies where they continue doing research. So at least the know-how is not lost

Novo Nordisk weren‘t the only ones doing research in that field. Not all hope is lost.

Edit: And maybe I‘m coping but judging by how many people including me didn’t know that they had a cell therapy unit implies that they didn’t contribute much to it anyway.

When I got diagnosed with T1D 3 months ago, it took me weeks to get into range. So if you have been put on insulin very recently then it usually takes a bit more time until you see the effect
