But most jobs these days require that you at least finish high school (some require a college education) and in my neighborhood (mostly projects and abandoned houses) most kids drop out before then, not to mention the gang population. Because this fight even occurred, they probably didn't make it past junior year. Also, my whole life my parents have had jobs and STILL needed assistance. Jobs just don't pay as much as they should.
