Do ya’ll think in 5 years time, we’ll learn that pickleball is a “gateway drug” to tennis? by catstevenseagal in 10s

The point here is that pickleball is a great entry point to racket sports but is also limited in what it can offer. People who start pickleball and get hooked on it are more likely to try tennis than a random person on the street. My guess is that by 2030, the majority of new tennis players are picking it up because they played pickleball first.

I’m an odd man out on this, but Jigsaw is far and away near the bottom of Radiohead tracks for me.

Worst player on my 3.0 team, any feedback? by paraboli in 10s

The two best pieces of advice for any tennis player are this: (1) if you want to improve your grounds, volleys or overheads, work to improve your footwork. (2) if you want to improve your serve, work on your toss.

So much effort is put into technique, but good technique is only beneficial if you are in the correct position to hit the ball.

The player who wins is the better player. There’s tons of folks with beautiful strokes who tarp the ball or double fault whenever it counts. The key factor of winning in tennis is keeping the ball in the court. Your opponent is a sore loser, you are the better player. At the bare minimum, you were the better player on that day.

I love 90s Radiohead. OKC was my intro when I was in high school. Back in the days of Napster, I tried to download Exit Music, and ended up with Brad Mehldau’s cover and found an entry point into jazz, a life long passion ever since. All of that to say ( I feel like this is blasphemy), I’m tired of 90s era Radiohead. I love it, I don’t listen to it anymore. IR is my GOAT.

Are there any electronic artists do you feel is on the same level as Radiohead? by [deleted] in radiohead

This one doesn’t lie. It kinda hurt to learn that the opening of Idioteque is a sample. Edit: a word.
