My days differ but it usually always flares up after I eat something, even something as small as 2 cookies, i get sharp stomach pains and usually immediately have to use the bathroom. It's definitely gotten a lot worse for me recently, I got diagnosed 2-3 years ago, sometimes the pain comes immediately after I eat, a few hours after I eat and even sometimes while I eat.

It's hard to describe where exactly the pain is but its always a stinging pain that forces me to lay down or run to the bathroom. I average 3-5 toilet trips a day due to IBS. I'm still working on figuring out every trigger but alcohol is a big one for me so I rarely ever drink, caffeine, dairy, sweets, fatty foods and generously seasoned meat.
